Jeanne is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Prior to joining the Season Health staff, Jeanne managed an outpatient diabetes management center for 16 years, serving patients with gestational diabetes, prediabetes, and Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. The center provided education about behavioral and lifestyle changes combined with effective medication management to help patients reduce their A1c and adopt healthy lifestyle habits. Jeanne has also worked for various weight management programs, seeing both individual clients and teaching group classes. She works with patients who are preparing for bariatric surgery, helping them begin making lifestyle and dietary changes prior to their surgery. Jeanne is well versed on the GLP-1 and GIP medications currently being used to assist patients with weight loss. Jeanne is an enthusiastic cook and loves to experiment with new recipes, with a focus on plant- based meals. Meatless Monday, anyone? Jeanne believes in Season’s philosophy of Food as Medicine.
