I have been working in tele-health since COVID and at present, I am licensed in over 30 states. Roya graduated from Hunter College in New York City with a Master of Science degree in nutrition. Upon graduation, she completed her dietetic internship at Hunter College where she did several rotations in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, community nutrition consulting, and food service management. She first started practicing as a registered dietitian working in a nonprofit catholic teaching hospital with a large population of patients in an underserved community. She has also worked in acute care and long term care behavioral health hospitals providing nutrition counseling to patients with both medical and behavioral health conditions. Since 2020, she has been providing health coaching and nutrition counseling in an outpatient virtual setting. Her approach to nutrition counseling is focused on each individual’s needs, and she believes what we eat has a direct connection to how we feel both physically and mentally. Roya enjoys helping her clients reach their health/nutrition goals and is here to support them in optimizing their health.
